Hi All,

Can we try and get as many supporters ,friends, kids etc down to the game on the weekend to cheer the lads on and show them all what a great club this is, lets create a real good atmosphere for all returning back too the Keepmoat after two months away, there could be a few people attending the game who just might be potential investors so a good turn out would certainly help, it is in these difficult times when we all need to stand up and show we want a Rugby League team in Doncaster.

The Restaurant upstairs will be open to all they will be serving food as well as the bar being open I would like to see as many as possible up there lets all put everything a side and all get back together as a family which is what Doncaster Rugby League is all about after all.

As for the raffle prizes they are all in the Office at the East Stand.

I will be there.....I fear general support will have melted away however.
The Dons are back at home just in time for the holiday period......perfect.

Can we ensure that people are actually told the restaurant is open on Sunday before the game and at half time rather than rely upon the psychic skills of supporters.

I will be travelling back from my weekend away with the lads and will be back for the game.

Cmon guys lets have some good singing.

Its going to be tough on Sunday against a big Haven side but if we show commitment I for one will be happy.

Albeit i have a 6 hour drive after me and the family will be there.

Not been able to getb o the recent home / away and away games so am really looking forward to it. I'm not expecting any great shakes but as has already been said as long as thers is plenty of effort and spirit on show i'll go home happy.

Well the Dons are certainly improving.....seriously.

To be honest i left the Batley game a lot happier than some of the games i had to endure when we had the so called stars of the Laker era.

And some of last weeks young players certainly deserved more respect from the Donny fans than certain players of that era who were on a good deal more money.

There was certainly no lack of effort at Batley. Unfortunately due to circumstance we are having to play players at least a league above that which some are ready for yet.



I don't honestly think that the majority of supporters took to the 'stars' of the Laker era.

Improved display , like to know how many knock ons there were. Not going to comment re the referee.

It was a knock-on-athon.

I came away slightly disappointed today.1st half i thought we were ok and if we'd have stepped up a bit in the 2nd the match would have been won.
Haven were there for the taking (down to 12 men as well) and we just didnt seem to get going at all.Id love to know what our completion rate was in the 2nd half.We just couldnt seem to get through a set.

Also i have to say, thats the worst Whitehaven side ive seen in years.I dont know if it was just a bad day at the office for them or what but they were shocking.

A gate of 337 as well doesnt bode well for the future.Whats it going to be when we play Gateshead at the end of the season??

Have to agree with Karlos.

After recent canings, to come away only 10 - 19 down is a vast improvement, particularly when the 'team' is still trying to gell.

Biggest disappointment was the failure to get the ball out wider in the 2nd half against 12 men. Last five minutes showed what could (and should?) have been done. Cannot fault Haven though for their tactics (repeated offsides, lying on etc) to keep Donny playing up the middle. Good to see we'd got them feeling nervous - a drop goal for heaven's sake.

Loved the bonus point song though!!

Well the simple fact is .....that Dons performance was head and shoulders above what we have been served up in recent weeks.
Some people on here have either not been to recent games or have got short memories ....or overblown expectations.
We competed for the first time in a long time.....against a Haven side that made Barrow look p/ss poor only the other week precipitating the demotion of their coach.
Yes in real terms it was a scrappy, messy game and both sides were poor at ball retention. The ref was an absolute harsh prick for both sides.
It was a game we didn't make the most of though.......of all the sides we were liable to beat in the run-in....Haven were the one.
Shame......but we have improved markedly.
Having said that......it was a poor standard for NL1 by all concerned..... skill-wise.

Big game for the dons though and the defence once the team settled was tremendous.

Yes, I noticed that too. As you say it was indeed a nice gesture (especially as they probably realised they were in for a bit of a telling off for the performance).
