Can anyone confirm a switch of day for the fev game. We've got friday scheduled, but there is a buzz that it's been changed to saturday?

There won't be as many as there would have been for a sunday - then I'd expect 6-700ish the way we're playing at the mo.
Unfortunately, a work night means a rush to get to the ground for 5-45 so we can run the gauntlet of the M62 roadworks to get there for 8! We've just about filled 2 busses and there are plenty going in their cars because of the time aspect.
I would have thought about 3-400 in total! maybe a few more

Yeah I know we are on SKY on thursday I just thought they might have shown the Widnes V 'Fev match on friday seeing as there are no SL matches because of murrayfield weekend. If its not on TV then it seems strange to play it on the friday night instead of on the bank holiday monday which would result in a bigger gate.

The Stadium is booked for the Widnes Cup final on Bank Holiday Monday.

should be a great spectacle tomorrow night, a very tight match if we can not concede a bagfull of early points like we normally do at yours. i don't go to away matches at Widnes and haven't sice 1989 but there should be plenty there not to miss me, you look like your getting a strong squad back together after your injury problems and I think the Rovers players will be obviously confident with the start we have made and flowing rugby we're playing but really they will want to perform well in memory of their lost team mate.
All the best whatever the result and see you at our place later in the season.

I kinda hope 'Fev win. OK it will mean we aren't top anymore but how good would it be if we were both unbeaten when Fev come to the LSV..... Plus I can never bring myself to cheer for the mutants.

Got to admit, feeling a lot better about this fixture and us in general now. Hopefully the result at Batley can be the springboard we need as wasn't expecting us to win at all last week. We've had Webbo and Ford come back, Allen and Heckenburg close to fitness as well as the loan/dual contract lads as things are certainly looking up.

If I remember correctly, the home league match we won against Fev last year was on the back of a very dominant pack display. I remember Cullen saying after the game that for the 1st time the pack had shown they had a bit of bang about them. Got a feeling that if we to get a win, the forwards are going to have to put in a similar display. Certainly won't be easy but win, lose or draw, things are at last heading in the right direction for us.
