Barba is a pleasure to watch, without Sky drooling, his balance and awareness are fabulous, there’s nowt on the guy either, 11stone wet through, I really can’t see Saints keeping him longer than this season, unless there is some kind of ban left. They say there is no such thing as a one man team, but this guy energies the Saints, I hope he’s not badly injured, because I for one can’t wait to see how we cope with him. Like greats before him, Boston “ our Sully” Brian Bevan, Millward, Murphy, legends we all remember and talk about to our friends and children, the likes of these superstars are rare in England now, hats off to true living legend.

Is it just me that doesn't see what the sockfest is over Barba? Yes he's a very good player but for me I think it more a sad indictment of the sport in the country that gulf in talent between SL & NRL is growing.
RFL have been failing to promote and market the sport to generate the needed media and revenue streams.
The days of seeing truly world class players are long gone due to the salary gap gulf so we only see players who either struggle to make the NRL or have trouble ala Barba.
Think the best part of St Helens & Barba is Holbrook as he has taken a poorly performing team and improved how they play massively.
Don't get me wrong Barba is good but still no where near the greats we have seen grace the game.
