| what happened, happened and thats the way life is. whats important is that we wipe our mouth n react in the best possible way.
i reckon Gentle is gonna tare the lads a new A hole this week. never seen him angry before last night, doesn't look like the kind of guy you wanna get of the wrong side of.
saints next week who will also be coming off the back of a tough 80 minm is the perfect game to prove our character, dont you think?

Saints game is massive for us IMO and would really hope for a big response. Would be great to win the next 2 before getting Yeaman, Ogre and Heremaia back. Sounds like Russell back to Wigan soon, so think we might see Horne FB.
Pleased to welcome back Whiting too.

| If you read Gentle's reaction on the F.C. website, then I think you'll find he's refusing to blame the decision as the reason for the loss. He's concentrating on not being able to kill a team off, the lack of possession and penalties. Whilst I agree with these statements, yesterdays game reminds me so much of the Warrington game at the KC where we led and didn't get a penalty in the second half and ended up drawing a game we should have won. Likewise against Wakefield we were coasting at 14-0 then in the last ten minutes didn't get the ball and got heavily penalised before holding on 14-10, oh aye Ganson was ref on those occasions too.
Conclusion? We need to know why this continually happens and learn to play to the ref. We adapt for different teams, so we need to adapt to his take on the game??
Mind you he might just be a bent referee???

Russell back to Wigan in time for the Exile game so we'll just have him for the next two at most.
Agree that the Saints game is huge. Lose that one and we are looking back towards 6th/7th with a tough run of fixtures. Win it and we are still handily placed.

| Next 2 games are must wins. If we don't then it's probably a scrap for 7th/8th place

| We need a reaction on the field but one off it also. As much if not more momentum has been lost by the announcement of Manu leaving and to a lesser extent Turner's expected departure than recent results. Sure Ellis is a great signing but when we see what Manu did yesterday we're left wondering how much weaker we might be next year not how much stronger. The club need to press the momentum pedal down again to keep the pot bubbling.

| I am confident we will come back against Saints stronger. Gentle isn't a coach who will just sit back and not learn from his errors.
We also have Whiting back, and potentially O'Meley and Yeaman, which will be a big boost. You would also think that Westerman will now be match fit enough to start at 13.
Lets also hope Wigan give Saints a right beating.
