None whatsoever, but it's common knowledge that players do get "jabbed up" before games.
Carlos missed a game last year when he lost all feeling in his arm before the match.
Whether it's right or wrong I don't know, but as long as the player gets the right medical advice then I'm (fairly) happy with it.
