How did Bowden and Taufua go?

Sounded like Taufua was excellent going forward but shaky under the high ball. He was targeted that much I think we moved him to Centre.

Not sure where this leaves us.

Taufua has always been dodgy under the high ball, that is not news. I still wonder if he was what we needed, an out and out centre or hooker would have been my choice.

There can be no positives in our position when we lose.

Can’t see any players wanting to come to us now staring down the barrel of a gun either.

Biggest positive is that the season ticket might be a bit cheaper next year

Knocked on 3 times, gave away 2 penalties and lost an aerial battle to concede a try. He can stick that highlight reel where the sun doesn’t shine gifting stupid pens and knock ons like that. Genuinely didn’t know Bowden was playing until he knocked on.

Yes. There was a positive response from the players, though, yet again, we started the 2nd half slowly. The improvement wasn't enough and once again, discipline and errors cost us a game that was there for the taking. The challenge now is to take a modest improvement to another level

To be fair we where playing team in as bad as rut as us with plyers out injured and a 17 year old prop on the bench they then lost there captain and a key forward to injuries in the 1st half but yet we still couldnt muster a win

The least enjoyable game I’ve had the misfortune to watch in a very long time , it had all the hallmarks of a condemned team . The heads down walking back and body language said all you needed to know after the Coote’s try , you knew the writing was on the wall and the fight had left them .

I actually thought that left edge of Corey hall and the new winger was pretty good

The big man won the collision near enough every time and probably won’t go 100 metres but I could see him been prolific. Better then lineham

Your starting pack was ok, but tanginoa and fifita coming on I think vs our 17 year old and Will Maher should have been a mismatch, they were awful

We will get rid of all the old injury prone players we have had for the last 3 year plus Gaskell , and the other signings Chester made for this season.

The only positive I can draw from that as I wasn't there is that it sounds like Fifita's debut

He carried the ball well but, there was more in the minus column than positives yesterday.

He carries the ball like a beast but like you say he cost us more than he gained us unfortunately
