I've heard the wakey u19's are playing before this game, is it also at Mt pleasant?

The Wakey team will be mainly 19s Mick, with maybe a couple of first team involved. CC confirmed this in Halifax the post match interview .

It's a shame that it will be mostly u19s playing. I would have gone to this had more first teams players been involved. Even as a student, £10 to watch the u19s is bit much

I believe there will be no players who will play in the Hudds game??? I think or was it the HKR game.

Anyway that still leaves maybe a dozen potential first teamers on show. Bit like dewsbury last year and that was a decent game.

Yeah, CC said something along the lines he's leaving out his starting 17 or so players, mainly because he doesn't want to chance any more injuries. Like you say that will still leave a pretty good side out on the park.

Every pre season there is a least one game where the majority of first teamers sit out and no disrespect intended but it's usually against teams like Batley:

I'm a bit confused when people cite value for money for pre-season games; it's not competitive, it's not an exhibition and it's in no way intended to be a display of the starting team - you're effectively paying to watch a contested training session. Surely everyone knows that by now?!

I think most people do and that's why people begrudge paying £10-£15.

Tbd on the clubs the cost of putting on the game doesn't alter whether the players are U19's or Internationals. Hence I don't think £10 is excessive myself and if it helps a decent club like Batley out all the better.
