Let's be thankful that we are saved the middle eights because I doubt we would even make the mpg. I know Walton is leaving but have we announced it yet because everyone else has. I know we like to keep the supporters in the dark but this is taking it to the extreme.

First game i've said no more to. Since the magic weekend we have only won twice in the league, thats now twelve games. Most of the defeats have been what can be described as heavy, without doing the maths i bet the average points conceded is about forty per game since then. Plus the tubbing in the semi final. It's no wonder peoples desire to spend their hard earned money on them is waning, it's just not been good enough.

Back room staff got us fit enough for beginning of season to get us in top 8. Id rather us be busted in the top 8 than the fittest team in the middle 8s. Saying that, it worked this year but next season every team will be going for a strong start to the season to avoid the middle 8s so hopefully the back room staff will condition us accordingly.

Some would rightly argue that was down to Brian Smith, not the likes of Dickens and Clawson. They've been here from the Agar era, and have somehow survived the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Now we are seeing similar effects in 2016, players lacking fitness, resulting in bad defence and heavy score lines.

Nope. It was the guy Brian Smith brought in for the off season who got them fit for the first half of the season then Clawson took over and same old issues are back

Sorry mate but smithy brought in his son and a another fitness coach that clawson should have learned off, but they wereonly here short term and when smithy left it was all left to clawson again. And is'nt showing.

Didn't brian bring over one of his sons understudies for the strength and conditioning team to work along side pre season? Assume he cleared off when brian did leaving us with clawson in charge again?

If we don't change conditioner it don't matter what players we sign we will be bottom again next year. Hopefully Chester has the gonads to say to MC we need a change

Just to play devil's advocate, but couldn't it be said that these recent performances are a product of the Super 8 competition and teams realistically having nothing to pay for? Taking our position as an example. We were too far adrift for the top 4, but safe from relegation. People have said that based on the current performances we would struggle to make the MPG. Realistically would our performances be the same in the qualifiers? I for one, am doubtful they would.

Sorry to disagree but I thought we fared better than expected tonight. Scored some good tries including the best of the game. Never seen Trin do a play down the wing like that straight from a kickoff. Some good hard tackles and a bit of biff to boot. Beat the bookies for once too.
Scott Moore and Arona were a bit of a liability. Dorn, Gale, Solomona and Chase are just to sharp when the passes stick but also react quicker when the ball comes loose and play is scrappy. Did Solomona go off?

We're not bottom this year we finished 8th I'd take that next season. I'd love us to be fitter for the full season so new conditioner with new ideas could move is up a level.
