Leeds have a no 9 that will want some game time but, he's not broken any pots over there.

Ideally, if cover coming in, someone like an Obst or a Godinet, who can cover all the positions.

I had heard though, that Scott Anderson, is heading back to Australia at the end of the season, so that would free up a quota place. I also wouldn't be surprised if Anthony Tupou requested to head back home early, given some of his injury niggles he seems to be picking up. Didn't someone on here mention a while back that he hadn't really settled. I hope not though, the guy is quality

If we were to get in an extra half who can cover 9, that would be Moore, Sio and AN Other. We also have plenty of cover in the back row.

We really need to look at some of the average Joe's who do a job in a couple of positions like him and Walton, and think, if we want to progress to the next level, do we stick with these guys, or replace them with a bit more quality. I think we need to look at this for 2017 in the three quarters too.

I think Adam Gilchrist once said when Australian cricket was number 1, that to maintain where you are at as a minimum, you need to improve, as those around you will be looking for ways to improve and get ahead of you. I agree with that philosophy.

Doesn't really matter whether someone has an EU passport or not in this case, you can still only have a maximum 7 non-federation trained players - i.e. where they played their rugby up to 21. Anderson is classed as quota (maximum of 5) so when he goes we will only have one spot available for next season on the assumption that Fifita remains, but for this season we've no room for anyone else. Unless as you say someone under contract leaves.

As for Howarth i can only guess we have someone from this country lined up otherwise we look very light on pivots should we get any kind of injury or suspension there.

Don't know how it works, but Widnes seem to get round it.

For me this guy is the most average player ever to hold.on to SL contracts he's nothing at all. He is also the laziest in training.
