Why at this busy time of year when people are out Christmas shopping is the club shop only open 09.00 - 3.00? Seems strange to me when we are looking for every way of making money and loose out on the late shoppers.

Maybe by slowly reducing the hrs until eventually we are only open for an hr, we will then all attend the shop at the same time, shop is rammed, mass hysteria ensues and we end up selling 17000 season tickets due to the shortage.

Due to family problems the usual shop staff are away and Becky is standing in.

Its not ideal but its where we are at.

We are in such a state of flux in the club, although the shop seems like an important thing, this is small.
As long as there is a facility to buy, I don't think reducing the opening hours is such a big deal.
If it were me I'd open at 12.00 and go later in the afternoon to catch the after school traffic or even do 12.00-14.00 only if it really needs to be reduced

If the person who is kindly standing in to keep the shop open has childminding commitments of her own then the shop will have to close. Maybe a couple of the keyboard warriors on here could volunteer for a shift or two.

I think people have a right to ask RLFans. It's a retail outlet.
Now that we know there is an issue everyone can be more understanding.

No need for the high horse

The club is a business. You ask for volunteers to run a charity shop not a professional sports club.

A fully manned shop is probably something the club can't really afford. You rarely see anybody in there purchasing stuff when it's open.
