| Yet the giants have at least 3 in both? And that's why England will never be competitive as we don't pick the form players but on reputation

| I can't say I'm suprised but I would have thought that Kirmond and Amor would have been in with a chance of making the squad.
Guess the players will just have to get to the grand final.

| Just seen the squads and what a joke. How the hell is Rangi chase in the squad he hasn't even played most the season? Same with Clark in the knight’s squad. Danny Tickle instead of Kirmond...come on!!! I don't think Crapmanara has put any work into the selection process at all. What’s the point of having a full time coach if their just simply going to pick to same players based on reputation. Amor and Kirmond have been outstanding and consistent all season. The thing is if were not getting any recognition at this level, we are damaged as a club. It's near on impossible to keep some of your best English players when you’re clearly not going to get picked no matter how well you play! Fergie was a good example, played consistently well for 2 seasons, Huddersfield sign him then he gets into Knights squad (despite playing for Hudds reserves at the time).
No Doubt we'll hammer all opposition this autumn and Crapmanra will feel vindicated. Come the world cup next year we'll have the biggest fall to earth since the last one 4 years ago. Same old predictable cycle of international RL.

| Quite simply the fact that McNamara is out national coach is the biggest damning indictment of the current British game. He just isn't up to the job.

| Although part of me says I don't care and am happy with how they play for Wakefield, this is the kind of PR that will make the likes of Amor pick another club.

| People bang on about expanding our game by having teams here there and everywhere but the only way we can expand our game to a wider audience is at International level. Our International set-up needs a good shake up from top to bottom starting with a coach who knows what he's doing, teams picked on form, not reputation, and players playing in their correct positions.

| Iam sure Kirmond has had a better season than Clarkson and Westerman who both play second row. And surely Amor is worth a spot in the Knights squad. Very odd.

| The man is a joke. He did nothing at Bradford and he is doing nothing for England. The very fact that Gareth Widdop is either not in the starting 17, benched or played at full back each game says it all. The lad is the starting 6 at Melbourne Storm, one of the best, if not thee best sides in the world. He is one of the best halves in the NRL for heavens sake. He doesn't hold the position by fluke, and it has nothing to do with the players he plays with. They don't carry him, he has the ability that they have. However, the very fact that Fatnamara overlooks this in favour of playing Kevin Sinfield out of position at 6, says all you need to know about his ability as coach.
We may be miles behind the NRL, it is tough to compete. But when you give incompetent buffoons like Steve Mcnamara the reigns of trying to keep up, we don't stand an earthly.

| thats always been the way jason, or to win trophies. u win 6 games on the bounce and have terriffic form throughout the team and still no players get a spot in the international team, especially with someone as a waste of space like chase in, why do fans of the game have to put up with the same crap

| How the hell does someone like Kieran Dixon of Quins get in? He’s only played 22 games in SL, he’s hardly a name that set the league alight this year. Sounds like a political selection to me. It’ll give SKY a chance to rave about how London area development is paying off, it wouldn’t of happened without franchising blah blah blah… Has Tom Burgess really been any better then Amor? I don’t think so, but the name has the reputation I suppose.

| It's a shame that not one player from the form team in SL (a form team made up of many English players, a fact that delights me) gets a look in, yet Chase who has been either poor or absent for most of the year is a shoe in.
Very lazy selection.

| At last something I think we can ALL agree on, the bloke is a joke. TBF on him I think he got the job because absolutely no one else wanted it but all the same you'd think he'd at least try.

| Amor has played for Ireland, so in my opinion he should never be picked for England. Neither should Brough. The only way to regain any credibility at international level is to bring back Great Britain and stop picking Aussies and Kiwis who aren't good enough for their own countries.

Kirmon stated quite positively after the game he WASN'T going to St Helens.
In fact he said 'to link up with Nathan Brown again? no chance!!' - 'Im VERY happy here'
Seems pretty likely to me he's staying at Wakefield.

Good to hear - he puts his body on the line for the team every week and has proved to be a great choice of captain.
Just hope we can get the Amor deal boxed off - then perhaps we'll begin to send a message to other clubs that they can no longer pick over our squad at will.

| This is my fear when we have dummys like McNamara our players not getting into the knights the players may think about moving to a bigger club. We are a club going places and Mcnamara needs to give some of our players a shot. Really hope Amor stays at Trinity.

| It was the same with Dale Ferguson. When he was playing well for us he never got a sniff.
When Huddersfield signed him he was arguably out of form for us, and was injured when he got to the giants, yet without playing a game he was selected!!!
Macnamara was a terrible club coach and is a terrible national team coach.
Our national team had slid before he got the job, but it's absolutely farcical now!!!
