Yes, I'll agree it's a wrong and silly statement, but before evryone starts calling him a "cretin" let's remember that when we went into administration he spoke out against clubs acting like vultures and trying to grab our players on the cheap. After his comment it all stopped; he offered us loan players and other clubs started doing the same. Those aren't the actions of a "cretin". OK he got this bit wrong but we all make that kind of mistake at times.

he's certainly right about the decline in the game and it should be reviewed, as comparing it with darts well then's a new angle to look upon it.

I just went to the championship darts last month at Sheffield and it was just a big drinking session I did enjoy the evenings entertainment but was hammered by the prices at £4 a pint, the food was also over priced as well but filled up at the burger bar before going in that was reasonable.
This was just a one off and I couldn't afford to do it every other week as like the away games with Trin. So I have no idea how he can compare the two organised events

Its simple, we have enough sides to make two leagues, bring in the promotion and relegation or east v west leagues, extend with new cup games using the academy teams only with the other championship sides like Fev (only joking

) and stop trying to compete with football

Having seen so much sloppy journalism, including Sky recently referring to our match against Salford being with "John Kear's men" I wonder if he has been misquoted. I suspect he meant to say Crusaders?

To be fair to Smith, whilst I've never been a fan and am annoyed at how he can't look straight at a camera during an interview and sounds very nasal, he did help us. Last year he loaned us players and spoke out in our favour. Full respect to the man for that. No matter what happens in the future I will always remember that in our hour of need he stood by us. It is in your darkest hour that you find out who your real friends are.

I think everyone is sick of the way the rfl run the game.And yet again the good old wildcats get the brown end of the stick with bad press, yet the bulls plight seems terrible lets all rally round where all in it together!.But are we, no 350,000 for us but a cheeky 1,000,000 for them.When pearman failed us and we couldn't fulfill the contracts didn;t we lose 2 points.yet bfd sign a 5yr contract on a young player knowing they've not enough money for the next 6/7 games what happens let's have a whip round.I love the game but i am and i hope everybody else is getting sick of their hypocritical double standards.

Absolutely...and I do remeber his help so I'll forgive him this slip up.....and let's face it, our previous incumbent leaders have been hopeless and an embarrassment to the club.
