Think the ref was a joke allowing at least 3 try's that shouldn't have stood. It was quite fitting though that an Aussie ref screwed his own country men though. When it comes back to England we should not allow any southern hemisphere refs to take charge of games.

Enjoyed watching them get a stuffing at the kick and clap too - not normally my game, but the England performance was nothing short of inspired. The commentators complained a lot that the ref hadn't allowed the scrummage to be competitive - for me, that made the game a better spectacle.

yeah there were a few mistakes but they cant get it right the hole time and lets be honest the mistakes normally even them selfs out and i'me very happy to say in the case of saturdays match they did!

From what I've seen of him this tournament Roy Cropper is nearly as bad as Klein, nearly.

I think the ref not being ontop of his game made the match even better than it was. He could have penalised both teams to death but chose to ignore a lot and evened things up with a dodgy try for both teams.

Can't say I agree with that, but then I find all the NRL games a bit frustrating to be honest; the refs let far too much go imo. Despite the high levels of intensity and skill, there's too much messing about at the ptb, forearm facials and niggly cheap shots.

Speaking of which - looks like Eastwood has been studying under Bailey whilst at Leeds; that was the cheapest of cheap shots on Shillington.

Spot on Bren2k. This is why the four nations never will work unless our games are officiated in the same way. Stopping the the attacking team attacking at speed using illegal methods is punished in superleague and this is why our game is faster. Over there it seems the opposite.
