Don't think it was quite the way you put it. He'd done his time, served us well, and wanted to get back home when he had the chance. Never got the impression there was any bad blood between Ollie and Wakey, or Ollie and Kear. |

Kear is definately the coach of the Catalans club from next season
He has already been enquiring about possibly signing several of Saints' junior players on loan for the whole of next season,
but only if they were prepared to live in the south of France!

As someone else has said on another thread if Catalans would have bought his contract out, he would be gone. Hardly loyal IMO. How is this all going to affect morale - players will know he was almost out the door |

There are some on here that are convinced Kear was on his way to France, and then there are those of us what dont have a clue whats going on. If it was his intention to go then an explanation would go a long way as to his reasons and would also help build bridges for those that feel let down. On the other hand if he were not going in the first place and everything just grew from speculation from the press is he supposed to apologise for something beyond his control, just a thought really.
