IMO If Fielden was worth 450K, Martin Offiah 440K, Paul Newlove around 400K and Sculthorpe about the same. Then I would go with 400- 500k because he has four years left on his current deal and IMO is in the same league as those players with the potential to be even better under Maguire and Wane.

With the lack of transfers in RL, there'd be no point selling him. Especially with the salary cap. We couldn't do anything with the money.

Agreed. Wigan really couldn't afford to let Sam Tomkins go. I think it's going to be a very long time, if ever, before that debate arises and we ever let him go. As has been said, he's already in the top three best players in the club, and it's only his second full season in the first team.

Sam Tomkins is an absolute gem - a very special player. Everytime he gets tackled the opposition fans cheer, which sums up just how good he is.

Sam's kicked quite a few goals this season. Three in the league, and I think he kicked some in the cup. I may be wrong on that one though.

by pricing the player more, the more detrimental to the team they are joining they become , by pricing him to the 1 million pound would mean you would have to play him along side the likes of Jordon james etc to fit him in the cap.

hes good but wouldnt go that far , he wouldnt be first choice in any aussie team , and im pretty sure you would swap him for Inglis, infact you would throw in the south stand, Pat richards and the hub cap to seal the deal.
