Also, I do like his Mrs shouting out encouragement from the sidelines, and having the odd comment on the ref as well.

Mark faces a two to three match ban, yet for Anthony Marion, sin bin for biting is seen as sufficient as video evidence inconclusive and he did not appear to act in an aggressive manner. Non aggressive biting on a rugby pitch, now that must be a first.

Bosty I think inconclusive is the word you should be focusing on??

Surely if spoken about with the ref immediately after the incident there would have been teeth marks which the ref could have used as evidence. Suppose Mark will get two game ban to match Harrison - the only people to be treated this way if you look back at the results of all disciplinaries this season.

Quick question for you on that! Player approaches you with bite mark, how do you identify which player bit him? If you don't see it there is nothing you can do about it. If the video does not show any evidence you cannot do anything about it after the event.

It was in fact the touch judge who called the biting incident, he stopped play and having spoken with the referee Marion was sent to the sin bin.
TV evidence pretty much useless in this case as the cameras were all on the other side of the pitch and the offence occurred on the blind side anyway.

If it was seen by the TJ then action can be taken and in this case was. As the follow up discipline process I presume requires further evidence if the video if it's not there then there us not a lot more they can do

Then he should be ashamed of himself because that is cheating beyond reason and in my game brings the wonderful game into disrepute. Glad you were on the ball as cheats should never prosper

It was an interesting one because there was nothing I could do! Apart from possibly penalizing him for un gentemanly conduct, what is the penalty?

I know it is hard to believe, but the touch judge did see it.

Mark Ioane (London Broncos) pleaded not guilty to a Grade C dangerous contact charge in the Kingstone Press Championship match against Toulouse Olympique XIII on June 17th. The player was found guilty, suspended for two matches and fined £100.

Not an expert by any means but I have seen similar tackles many times. If that tackle was deemed dangerous then best we make rugby league a non contact sport!

I await with interest as to whether Wilkin gets a ban for what he got sin binned for last night. To me it was much worse than what happened with Mark.

Not wanting to sound bias but it's an absolutely scandalous decision from the RFL.
If the Toulouse player had not been injured in the incident then nothing would of been said.

Its not you sounding biased its what many a London fan knows we get hit harder than any other club. What you are saying is true and honest and nothing else can be added.

No one is saying that everyone hates us and it is infantile of you to put that. What we are saying is a fact we get the rough end of the stick. You can't / won't see it as you appear to believe refs are wonderful. I wish I had your faith in them all but I dont and appreciate some are great, some are good, some are mediocre and some are bloody useless.

Not disagreeing, refs are the same as players you have the stars then you have those that are not the stars
reality is the bloke who blows the whistle tries to do the best he can in any game, exactly the same as players, some folk on here think we deserve the elite level or that every ref should be elite level

we don't get treated any different to any other club despite what folk think.

I dont expect elite refs at this level however I do expect refs who are capable of doing the job and that is often not what we get. As for Mark he did not deserve the punishment he got and nor did Daniel Harrison when you look at our disciplinary record against most other teams we are fairly innocent and look at these particular tackles against other teams and you will then agree as a team they have been harshly treated. I am not suggesting for a moment they did not deserve penalties against us but match bans and fines - come on.

Difference being if a player is useless their contract is not renewed if a Ref is useless he carries on refereeing and getting paid to be useless. I do not know if you have noticed but the Sky commentating team are making a lot more comments on the bad refereeing decisions this season.
