Yes, a Merry Christmas to one and all and a toast to absent friends having their Christmas dinner (or should that be Barbie?) round the pool in their back gardens.
On a historical note, my mother remembered how, when she was a girl in Port Pirie before the war, a lot of the ex-Brits still insisted on having the full British Christmas dinner even when it was over ninety in the shade and a howling gale was blowing the sand in off the Simpson desert. Does that still go on?

Not quite 90 here.had my prawns down the beach earlier,but will still be having the full xmas dinner turkey sprouts etc this evening while wearing my old London Broncos singlet....roll on 2013 and a better season on and off the pitch for London,merry xmas to you all.

101 degrees yesterday Listy......hottest xmas in wellington for 60 years or so.......beer butt chicken on the BBQ.....gallons of ice cold beer and the mother of all tans (even for my ginger self)....cracking day!

How can you have christmas in the sun? Much prefer the winter and look forward to spring and the new RL season.
