How do they expect this to sell to RL fans? Only after '06 have we been named Harlequins so why would we need a "timeless" shirt? I didn't care about the Harlequins name/brand/RU until we moved in.

After 30 years of RL in London I thought we'd at least get polos, old replicas etc for that

I like it. It's much nicer than last season's playing shirt. I'd like to suggest that next year's playing shirt be as similar to this as possible, and having the original all black with white/red chevron Fulham kit as our change kit for our 30th anniversary. I won't hold my breath though as something completely different has no doubt already been arranged.

went in the shop yesterday, was great to see they were promoting this new shirt, and it was at the front of the display!! errrrr nope did not even see the bloody thing

I would love to see a Fulham RL style away shirt for this 30th Anniversary year. Please God may the new replica shirt see an end to the bat-kit design.

I'd love to see a Fulham style shirt too, and while I'm no fan of the quarters I think last season's shirt was the best so far, if for no other reason than it looked distinctly different from the RU teams shirts. From a practical point of view having a black back to the shirt allowed the names and numbers of our players to be clearly identified. An all black shirt with a V for this season please!

Why when we are Quins are you expecting or even suggesting a Fulham top is the way forward. Its like asking Man Utd to wear the green and yellow of there former life as a home colour- It isnt going to happen

We will, and rightly so wear the Harlequins colours in some guise.

They flog a similar thing to the union lot, classic quarter colours with no messing around and no sponsors, so no matter what horros the kit designers visit upon us there is always an alternative.

Oh and BTW a Puma 3XL is a 50" chest, a normal XL from Canterbury, Nike and Adidas...

Yeah was OK, a little disappointed in some of the so called world class players but it was a decent contest and some fierce defence.

I would agree about some of the stars not performing as you would have expected. I had been promoting Lockyer, Thurston et al before the game and as you have suggested the stand out players didn't stand out.

When I walked away from the game I was thinking I couldn't remember watching such an enjoyable game for a long time. Thoroughly enjoyable.

For a test (and a bloke who has watched a lot of NRL in my time) I thought it was an average contest, brutal at times but lacked the skill I would expect from these two nations.

I have heard that the home kit will be in Quins colours (obviously) and the away kit will be in Broncos colours.
