Guess most of the rest will get a run out against Workington again with the youngsters in a large squad, with a starting near full strength side at Warrington.

I bet Broughy wants to play in all three !! Gives Rick an early chance to see his half backs and one of his dual hooking options in action might be the decider on where Ryan Hinchcliffe plays this season .

Rick did hint that Alex can cover centre at a push, and has had Bruno training there too says he looks good !!!

From what he was saying at the fans forum he sees Lee more of a Fullback, also hinted that AOB and Kruise would share hooking duties allowing him to play Hinchy at 13 more, so as you say it could be very interesting, what is encouraging is the strength in depth and cover we seem to have now, plenty of options in all areas so we shouldn't need to see 4 or 5 players moved around for 1 or 2 replacements.

We didn't need to see that last year, just dumb coaching made it happen

Anyway, we do have some depth now it seems in most areas which is a big change from 3 months ago

I'm genuinely feeling good about this season, but I'll be much happier with our first league win out of the way lol

i like the idea of Lawrence at centre especially left centre as he will be a big help defensively for brierley, looking forward to the season now.

lawrence at centre would solve the issue of where to fit him in seeing as hinchcliffe will be loose forward and lawrence is wasted on the bench

whether lawrence is a centre now is another thing! seems to have lost his pace being moulded into a forward

these pre season games will be informative!

Lawrence for me is a 100%er, where ever he,s played, done a good job, not international class, but a top SL player, Loyal, strong , Fit, (not missed many games through injuries, would have no problems playing him at , long time since he,s been a back, but sure he would again give 100% and not let anyone down, sure he will be rusty, but still has pace, more if he lost a few pounds. still like him at 13.

Rick Stone actually said Mike Lawrence was THE most underated player in Super League when asked that question at the fans forum !! - quite an accolade for him but one i'm sure a lot of us would agree with.

With Lawrences size he would be an awesome centre. He would probably benefit from a sprint coach trainer working with him to just sharpen up his off the mark speed. With the amount of forwards we have it should be a very good move to move him out to centre.

Bruno at centre... I mentioned this a fee weeks back. I think he would do a job and means he gets 80 minutes each week.

Might from roughly the same time as wonder pass try, but don't think it was a sky game.

It was 2012 the game against saints- brilliant game! lee Gaskell played a blinder against us in that game. But we just won 17-16. Was a fantastic game with loads of drama-we came from two scores behind at half time. Luke George scored a hatrick, including finishing of a full lengther that Danny collected from the kick off, Danny brough missed a penalty to put us level, lomax scored a try when Leroy thought the ball was going dead by diving on it between Leroys legs, jerry absolutely flattened Roby, Danny hit the conversion you alluded to when the ball hit both uprights and the crossbar to go over, and lomax missed the final conversion to get them the win which led to a nervous 5 minutes at the end.
