Stevo said that Millard was very saddened by Arthur Thomas 's death this week. He then went on to say that Arthur brought Basil over to coach St Helen's direct from Australia. I always thought it was Leigh who brought him over.

You know when Stevo is telling lies.......His lips are moving. The man has a commentator is an absolute tool.

Don't want to be 'picky' but it was Eddie Hemmings who made the reference to Ian Millward and Arthur -and not Stevo

The Watcher believes that Eddie & Steveo are the 2 worst sports comentators currently working anywhere in the world. They do not know the rules of the game & obviously make no effort to learn them. The Watcher remembers Eddie Wareing & thought bhe was a bad for this great game of ours but having the 2 numpties from Sky is like having TWO Eddie Wareings. They are rubbish & do the sport no favors.

With out doubt they are very poor, i watch all the nrl games on premer, and quality and standard of commentary is far superior, they provide interesting facts and actually enhance the game and not themselves. If there is a better commentator than ray warren i have yet to hear him, warren must be 70 but yet is still razor sharp and a joy to listen too.

Spot On. Watching the Aussie games is well worth the sub to Premier Sports though some of the Aussie commentators speak too much. It's almost like having a radio commentary: but Ray Warren is superb and the summarisers really enhance the experience. We could do with a couple of them over here.

Having listened, for the first time, to Dave Parkinson's full match commentary yesterday, (all 80 minutes on his own) I reckon he could do a better job than some of the 'experts'.

I have also taken in the Leigh Life radio service during a couple of Evening games and I have to agree with you Alan.

Dave is a fine young commentater in his own right and his presence behind the mike always enhances the coverage.

The Salfordlad has a good face for Radio.

My Nan and Grandad are scousers and have never watched RL apart from the odd thing they saw on Grandstand back in the day, but they have started watching SL for the first time this year and said they really like the coverage and how they make it enjoyable for people like themselves. They don't know much about the game but E&S they say make it easy for them to follow and they love the banter between them. I guess that's why RL is the second most watched sport on sky with 35% of viewers down south. They must be doing something right!
