This event has now been arranged for Wednesday 25th July at the Hilton Park pub on Leigh Road , what used to be Our House pub , the starting time is 7.30pm , come along and support this Deserving player , he may not be a born Leyther , but to me is a True Leyther through and through , and deserves our support , John always gives 100% on and off the field ,nevers lets the team down ,lets show him we care .

It shows how popular he is at the club , most of the players have already said they will be there to support the night , i spoke to Chris Hill a couple of weeks ago he said both he and his Dad will be there should be a good night , hope to see as many there as possible , if anybody has any enquiries please just ask , it will be £10.00p to enter , buy-ins until 9.pm,all the money raised will go to John , but there will be some very good prizes .

Completely forgot all about the one for Connor last week but think me and our kid will be coming to this one.

Thanks Jimmy , the one for Connor was a big success , we raised a fair few quid towards his Wheelchair , Riddy and Brierley also came along and had a go at the Poker , they really enjoyed it , so im hoping for another success for Duffy , put the word about if you know anyone who may like to come along .

Should be coming, I'll book the evening off work now i've got a date.

Just a reminder that John Duffys Testimonial Poker night is this coming Wednesday at the Hilton Park pub on Leigh road , commencing at 7.30pm 25th July , we are hoping for a good turn out to support John , this lad has put his body on the line for our Club and deserves our support , im told most of the first team will be in Attendance , so come along even if you dont play Poker , and have a chat to the Lads .
