Totally outmuscled today by a fairly ordinary pack. Need some weight in the forwards for next season - only Whiteside with any grunt today and completely went to pot when he got sin-binned!

been a long hard season for the lads this year,to be honest first twenty min miners were class then just let it slip corn just stuck to the game plan and it paid off,miners back to the drawing board,a very good forward signed for next season some good lads comming through so next year should be a good one cant wait.

And who would that be? Winston fails to realise he has some superb young players playing in the second side - players he delibrately and blatently overlooks. Ie. taking 3 of them up to East Hull and giving them each 5-10mins.

If LMR are going to be a 'one-team club' then so be it, but Winston shouldn't be expecting many people to hang around. He should be sacked IMHO.

make the long trips

Unless the club make a stand as a club then this will always be the case, young lads eagerness to play 1st team only acknowledged when more senior players decided a trip ovver't hills is not on their agenda that week.

Its been going on for years but that IMHO is down to the club not the coach, a coach can implement rulings but requires the club committee to support what he is doing to get the message across.

Perhaps its a bit of both, coach and club but it is disappointing for any young lad to realise after travelling so far he is in reality possibly not in the coaches long term plans and was only selected to make the numbers up.

I also know of a few players (one being myself) who have been rung up at 10am on Saturday morning asking to play first team. I would of been happy to play first team - had Winston not competely blanked me for 2months prior. I know of at least 3 players, who have played at professional clubs, who have told Winston under no illusions to stuff his first team up his a*se.

Winston is too busy lookin over his shoulder at how the second team is bein doin. They have some good lads there and a coach who is turnin a few yeds!
