Average recovery time depending on what type of break it is, is 4-6 months. But thats just getting back to normal everyday life and not a high impact sport like rugby. Feel proper gutted for him and yeah this could literally be his wire career over before it starts which is a real shame. We have Ben Evans and Joe Philbin ready to step up and i believe Bailey is around 2-3 weeks away to returning. So forward wise we're covered but would have liked to see dodds get more time with us

Evans has played at least twice now so should be ok for next week. Such a shame about Dodds though. I think he would have been great for our defence this season.

Bloodyw leg breaks and lower leg injuries over the last couple of years.

It was a clear break on tv replay, his leg just went to jelly, sickening injury, poor guy, hope he fully recovers and plays again.

There's no questioning his talent, he's still young, and there doesn't seem to be many other props around ready to sign for us.

There wasn't even any weight on his leg at the time, it was hanging in the air and as Bousquet came running through his knee just smacked into Dodds' shin and snapped it. Baffling that just the force of a knee hitting his leg could break two bones like that. Makes you wonder how it doesn't happen more often if that's all it takes.

Doods only wanted 1 year to see if it was the right fit for him and the club not take 3 years and milk it, check his interview, in the game and a bit I watched he looked like he tackled with ease and took down the big guys easy I hope he takes an option for next year.
