Watching Ben Currie last night he seemed lost in the centre, and I don't mean positionally but with the speed of thought and movement. The ball seemed to stop dead once he got it. The kid has bags of talent and can go on to be one of the games best players, but I think that he should be played in the back row and not at centre. Obviously when we are a centre down through injury he is the obvious choice to slot in there, but where do we all see his best position?

How far is Toby King from getting some game time in the first team? I thought both Warrington centres were poor in last nights game. Not as poor as the halves but that's another issue.

Probably at least 8 weeks - he had an operation on his jaw last week after the Wigan game.

Back row, but having said that I think physically he still isn't developing as fast as I'd like. He has all the skills in the world, and abilitiy that some others do not and never will have, but he still looks a couple of stone light to me.

When you compare him with Laithwaite, for example, he looks a few years behind in body shape and maturity. I've no doubt he will become an exceptional talent for us and England, but he still looks like he needs less salad and more steak (and coming from a veggie that's quite a statement) in order to handle life in the engine room.

Curries another Grix, he can play anywhere on the pitch and give you 100%. Think we need an established No 13 on the pitch though we just seem to be miss firing at the moment but early days yet.

He was second row last night and again did one hell of a shift.

I'd like to see him get an extended run at centre abd see how he goes. His obvious pace is wasted in the pack except when covering back in broken play when he usually outpaces our backs.

He showed last season against Cas (?) how dangerous he can be out wide.

Loose Forward

He did play in the centre after a re=shuffle and did put a shift in especially in defence but he looks lost in attack. He looks a bit slow with his thinking.
I would love to see him at 13 and given a free roaming role to link up and chime in all over as he has got the skill power and speed to do it.

not quite fast enough for centre...not quite big enough for 2nd Row.....loose forward maybe or bulk him up a bit for 2nd row.

I think he'd do Monaghan, Bridge and possibly Atkins for pace.

Have to disagree with you Oxford on his pace, he's very quick.

I can't believe he's quicker than Atkins? I can't ever remember seeing him cut loose and skin anybody with pure speed?

He took a big step back due to being very ill so last year we didn't see the best of him, a few will disagree but he'll get better as the months go on and eventually be in a similar role to that of O'Loughlin, Sculthorpe, Farrell.

Don't forget he's relatively young.

he reminds me a little of lee gilmour, without the weird top end stepping.

Hope he ends up with as at least as many Super League rings as Gilmour.
