Castleford had a transfer request for Snyde rejected "immediately" by Salford.
immediately was the word used by Doc MK...poor choice of word imo indicating that they haven't even given it any thought.
Carvell has been transferred on loan to Castleford for the remainder of the season.

"Immediately" is a great choice of word as it leaves little doubt where they think Sneyd should be playing next year, given his progression this year and the fact that he is a Salford player and Koukash doesn't need the cash, what is there to think about?

Garreth has moved from Hull after bhaving been told he won't be offered a contract for next season. It gives him a chance to get some game time and put himself in the shop window. Maybe the rumours re Craig Huby moving on at the end of the season have something to do with it.
Regarding Koukash, he does appear to be constantly shooting from the hip. Compare him to Simon Moran, who is very rarely in the limelight and lets others do his talking. I'd guess that Simon has more RL knowledge in his little finger that Marwen will ever have.

Maybe that the difference Teesside.....Moran loves his hometown club whereas the good Doc is out to make a fast buck .

He isn't out to make a fast buck, you don't buy a sports clubbfor that as very few make money.

It's a vanity project, he needs the adulation, he needs the hero worship. He needs to be the one that said ibhave dragged this club up, I have put the things in place and if we win it is I who you shall thank, me me me.
I have no doubt he loves the sport but he's ego driven.

He would only leave if everyone was against him and he wasn't getting that feeling that he was the saviour.

Salford fans are in 2 categories.
Those that love him and those that have to tolerate him.
They realise though, financially they won't have anyone better.

No one on here really knows why Sneyd has put in his transfer request, but the possibility of him wanting to be a proper Cas player must be a good probability seeing as he's in a team that's in with a chance of silverware. Could he play out his season at Salford in 2015 and then basically sign on for Cas for free?

He reminds me of the spoilt kid constantly wanting to be the centre of attention, hand in the air and shouting, 'Me, me, what about me?'

Saints have loaned players out but not brought anyone in, as have Leeds - other than that I don't think ao

Considering our amount of injuries it's strange but good that we haven't brought anyone in and let the youngsters have a go.

Maybe TS has faith in his youngsters, or maybe he's already got players lined up for 2015.

TS has stuck to his guns and is reaping the rewards now.

The stick he was getting from many quarters was a disgrace but thankfully it is he who makes the coaching decisions and things are turning out as he knew they would.

I am not for one minute saying we will win all before us now but the way the young lads who HE had faith in are now playing is great for us going forward.

And there are even more QUALITY youngsters coming through that will be pushing for 1st team places before too long.

Great news indeed Walter. To be fair to any doubters I seem to think that most of it was aimed at recruitment rather than the youngsters and I understand that it's difficult to balance both promotion from within, giving our youth a chance and buying in quality from elsewhere.

As a forum, we probably were a little quick to jump on the "woe is me" bandwagon with our early season form, but, also, in the past we may have been just as guilty of proclaiming that such and such a player was nailed on first team standard?

All in all it seems that we've got every reason to be optimistic long may that feeling continue
