| On the SL show they referred to us and Hudds as being the 'form teams' at the moment.
Regarding us, there is no doubt that we are playing better than at the start of the season partly because the new combinations are working, partly because we're getting on the front foot and with a few wins under our belt confidence is high
The next 7 games are definitely winnable and (if we win them) the media band wagon will hype us up big time, but the final 6 games (and a semi against Leeds and hopefully a CC final) are against the 'top sides' (looking at the table) - not to mention the play offs.
So while I'm pleased with progress and the way we're playing I think it's all too easy for people to get carried away.
I hope the players ignore the press and concentrate on the next game (cliche I know). That's essential for us to stand a chance of silverware.

| What is the saying... Make hay while the sun shines?
Let's enjoy the form, and let's hope we can ride the wave for a long period. It won't last forever, so enjoy it. We've got a tough run in, but a few guys back to fitness (Wood, Waterhouse, Lauthwaite, Monaghan) so who knows, we could still be rolling this form into August and the cup semi.

| I'd rather we had a dip and finished up 3rd or 4th.
If we storm through and those above us drop points and we end up top or 2nd, the media will definitely be backing us to go all the way and, as proven in the past, that isn't good for us.

| But if we manage to finish 1st or 2nd from where we were, we deserve to be the boys with the hype. It should not change the way we play or go into games its always business as usual with TS

True words but being favourites in the GF is never good news.
However I must say that I enjoy a good run of form and winning against rivals. It'd also be great to win the LLS considering how everyone had pretty much written us off in March.

| I think we've done well this last couple of months and at this stage are looking better than I thought we would this season.
Some of our players that were well out of form early season have come back in to form together, the team seems happy and they are doing really well considering the calibre of players we have lost and also the disruptions we've had through injury. The younger players coming in to the team have been making contributions too.
My prediction was always "first good team we face in the Challenge Cup will knock us out, and first good team we play in the playoffs will knock us out". That might still happen but I'm feeling more optimistic after our wins over Saints and Leeds.

| We've had more injuries this year than I can remember for quite a while and I was very concerned when W and W couldn't play.
The youngsters have done well but they're still someway off from being seasoned pros, so it's good we're getting some experience back.
I still see Saints, Wigan and Leeds as the top clubs but we're getting there.

| I'm still of the view that the number of injuries we've had in the forwards could lend us an advantage come the run-in and play-off time, [iif[/i the players in question have regained match fitness and form.
Grix, Waterhouse, Wood, Monaghan, Harrison, Westwood will all have played less games than most of their peers for one reason or another and should be fresh as daisies. This, allayed to the fact that the youngsters will be more battle-hardened than they were early doors and we should have a machine room with plenty in the tank.
Still, we'll see. It's proving to be quite an unpredictable season - in the opening rounds I thought Leeds & Saints looked a country mile ahead of everyone else, but since then they've both shown increasing fallibilities, particularly Leeds.

Aye it's been a funny season.
No one team has really shone, a few have shown glimpses of running off with it but with only 4 points between the top 6 this season is wide open.

| What's helped us is our lighting quick ptb and running around the ruck, I'm guessing that's something we have worked on heavily.

Is this a realisation that kicking the ball out of hand isn't one of our strong points, so we've adapted our game away from a Briers-led attack and into something our current squad are more adept at? Should we be using the upcoming games against teams in the lower half of the table to add an element of a kicking game back into our tactics? If we could try to do this now, whilst continuing with some running from the ruck, then it'll add more strings to our attacking repertoire before the games at the back end of the season when trophies are at stake. A team that is unpredicatble is much harder to set a defense against, and if we could polish some kicking focussed attacks it'd hopefully increase our chances of collecting some pots.
I haven't kept a eye on the form of O'Brien whilst he's playing for Swinton, so don't know whether he's been told to go there and practise his attacking kicks, but he's probably the most adept ball out of hand kicker on Warrington's books. Could we see him coming back into the fold over the next few weeks?

| Our quick ptb and runs from dummy half are devasting for the opposition forwards. It tires them out which increases the likelihood of errors and makes their drives weaker too. Even though teams know we play like this, they can't do much to stop it working. It's pure genius and brilliant to watch.
