Definitely agree, though, at the moment, prospect is still the term to be applied to the lad.....His recent international displays are evidence of this.

I think Wigan are very lucky to have such a naturally gifted player. If he steers clear of injuries and doesn't have too much pressure put on him at club level (He already seems to be an irreplaceable at Wigan), then he could become a future great of the game.

Sam Tomkins is going to be very very good in whatever position he plays. The lads still only young and learning all the time, and for the fact he was one of the top performers in SL in his 2nd season i fully believe he will go on to be regarded in the same breath as Edwards. Oh and Roby is still a class act too.
