Compare our lot to, for example wigan who expect to win even though they've done nowt for ten years and when they were good it was because they were the only full time team.

Or saints who have lost the last 3 grand finals and seem pee'd off, even tho they GOT TO THE LAST THREE GRAND FINALS.....

Lets remember where we have come from and hope it lasts for years to come, and by that i mean that we can compete for honours consistently,

if we can put a strong showing it what's likely a first round against saints then win or lose we can get to the final elim and why not the GF.

All this talk about backing up applies to us all, the comp will at that stage be distilled to the best most intense teams. so we are all in the same boat

It's that old chestnut again. Leeds and a few others were as well. It's just other fans seem to latch on to Wigan because we won things. Do some research before posting things that aren't true and then later claiming they are.

Back on topic, though. It's nice that Wire are up competing for the top honours along with ourselves. I was beginning to worry there was getting too much of a Saints/Leeds monopoly on the league.

sorry yes you're right, but they didn't have the money you had or the political clout with the rfl (good old maurice) to change the rules to suit yourselves. face it it wasn't a level playing field then at all.

good old Maurice Just how did he help Wigan when he was in charge of the RFL?
He was the one that started Super League and the Salary Cap that did Wigan no favors at all.

And as for Money between good old Maurice and Good old Mr Robinson they very nearly took the club out of existence

Nowt for 10 years!
Won a challenge cup and lost in a final and got to 3 semi finals!
3 Grand Finals and 1 (Possibly 2) minor premiers.
I think that most teams would be over the moon with that for last 10 years!!

Personally I dont care what Wigan, St Helens, Leeds, Bradford or even has done over the last 50 years, never mind 10. 6 months ago if someone had said second in the league CC semi by the end of July very very few people would have turned it down.

The team is playing well. Yes there have been hiccups but then again NOBODY is perfect. Its just pleasing that the hiccups are far far fewer than in previous seasons.

I for one am happy. If we get back to Wembley I will be happier. Old Traffford happier still.

You win one poxy pot in over 20 years (probably 2 pots in 30 years) as for 10 years ! lets go a bit longer, then you need both hands and some feet to count Wigans pots.
