Played well last night @ centre for England (against weak opposition), where do people think his best position in the team is?

For me it's centre.

I thought he played more than well - I thought he was very good with involvement in the first 3 or 4 tries, he always looked dangerous with ball in hand and was solid in defence. Every time I have seen him in internationals he has looked at home in the centres

Yep centre for me as well,in super league and as you say against weaker teams,
hate to think what might happen to him and several other england players against say the aussies and the kiwis..
He also seems to of shaken off the i am made of biscuit [see padders tag that followed him around a couple of seasons ago.

Bridge has never played better,looks like he is finaly fulfilling his potential.

Bridge was the best centre on the pitch by a country mile , he played well and impressed, as stated I agree v the kiwi's or Aussies it would have been a different story ( intensity wise and outcome ) but I think we lowered our standard because of the opposition whom were poor to say the least , which brings up what was the point of such a meaningless International midway through the season ? The match up was similar to Wire playing the Wizards a total no contest and if we are to compete with the Aussies we need to play better opposition maybe an Overseas quota 17 that play in SL and postpone the round of SL for that week maybe !

Probably the form centre in Super League this year, it's good to see him fulfilling his potential and should only get better .

You can only improve playing opposition that is superior to yourself, Bridge was always going to look good playing against those clowns.

Credit where credit's due , he was the best centre on the pitch , that doesn't say a lot does it , lets see how he evolves over the season and in the 4 nations before he earns the right to be called a world class centre ! the jury is still out at the moment !
