I think EH is good in the studio leading a discussion but should
NEVER be allowed to "comentate".

He ruins every single TV game for me with his endless resort to
irrelevant historic anecdotes, usually when some really superb
rugby is being played. This is then interjected by childish
attempts at humour.

The reason he resorts to this garbage is obviously due to his
lack of knowledge of the game and players (the reason he asked
for large numbers on players backs, so he can identify them from
his list).

isn;t it time he received a slap on the leg and was removed from
commentary team ?

Not got a problem with Barrie Macca.

Think it was because Barrie said that the Widnes ball was 'hot' when he made the draw for the Northern Rail Cup 1/4 final.

Yep, Phil Clarke is a royal ar$e.

Phil Clarke only gets a little giddy when discussing Wigan, which is understandable. Generally, he has a very good technical, and, practical undersanding of the game.

His layman's descriptions for non-RL people is fantastic.

I stand by my 'ar$e' description.

I don't mind them being biased really. If they were a bit more open about it it could even be quite funny, add a bit of banter to the shows. It's the pretending to be unbiased that bugs me.
