| I've NOT looked at the stats. They interest the club, I just go on what I see. These are just my "cold light of day" thoughts
Hill - superb
Higham - likwise
Wood - bloody good, considering the loss of a bollock, and his state of mind in the last year
Westwood - OK, but a shadow of the last few years
Waterhouse - done OK, but not played anywhere near his NRL reputation. I don't expect his contract to be renewed, come 2014
Harrison. Injured again, and being used as an auxiliary prop, nothing more, nothing less. He's not a loose forward.
Grix (when he's played there) - great, but I don't get the manlove that some have on here
Carvell- when fit, he's pretty damn good, shame to see him go
McCarthy - I'm sorry, but he's not at our level. He'll do well at a middling club, but, we can do a lot better
Cooper - well documented on here from me, he's not "kicked-on" since 2009. Thanks for your efforts, lad. Use plenty of sunscreen when you're sat on the bench for the Sydney 3rd's
Currie - Looks a cracker
MonaghanM - Still got it (at times) but a shadow of his former self
and now
I'm hating myself for typing this, BUT
Morley
It's been a season too long at the HJ
He's been picking up these 6-8 week injuries too regularly (as has Briers, but he's a back, so that's another discussion), and I'm afraid to say his performances are NOWHERE near the mark of where we want to be, or more importantly (for him), where he wants to be.
It's a VERY sad thing for me to say, BUT, I'm glad he's going. He's miles off.
Sorry, everyone.
Morley's been a beast for us, but not anymore.
As a pack thing, we almost crumble after 20 mins, when Hill/Higham/Wood are replaced. Our intensity levels drop significantly. This needs to be addressed for 2014.
