No matter what their attendances are, I reckon they're here to stay, as it's probably on the sayso of Sky, that there's a London presence in SL. It looks like we're stuck with them.
FWIW, I've nowt against Harlequins/London etc, just their paltry attendances, which must make outsiders p155 themselves with laughter. In a catchment area of 7 million plus, and them playing top level RL for 16 consecutive years, they are still struggling to get anything like a respectable average attendance.
It must be soul destroying for the few fans they've got.
Quins owner has and continues to stick in his hard earned to keep the club afloat. Heard Brian McDermott getting almost emotional when talking about the dedication and commitment people have at The Stoop to keep RL going there. Can it continue on good will and a financial backer who surely can't keep up assistance of this sort. Would be interesting to hear form Quins fans how they believe Red Hall help their club with PR and marketing.
