Out next Sunday at the open day, always thought the original club colours of amber, black and scarlet hoops would make a good away jersey and a nod to our past.

It is black and white this year.

They've not leaked it again have they!

I quite liked the grey one, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they've come up with.

I wasn't a fan of the grey away shirts with the gold stars that we've had over the past two years. (Particularly the first one) They looked like they should have come with a horse, googles, gloves and a whip. I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I liked the bright green one we had about 4 years ago. I noticed Leeds now have the same green on their new away shirt.

A good idea for Magic I think would be the black, amber and red hooped jersey we had for the special centenary match back in 1979.

The lime green with black shorts and socks has been my stand out favourite of recent a year.

If it's black and white do you recon it'll be the same design as the home.

The navy / gold is actually my all time favourite I remember playing in this shirt for Salford school boys.

I see Wigan have gone for retro looking home and away shirts, with a lime green 3rd shirt.

I played in it too, Salford DDA many Moons ago.

Just seen Wigan's they have it spot on not cluttered with sponsors nice clean retro looking shirt, their home one reminds me of the late 80's early 90's type shirts. On the subject of our traditional colours again it would be a great idea to have the magic shirt sporting the amber, black and scarlet. I reckon the club would go with that if it was put forward to them.

I just hope there's nothing to 'kooky' in the away shirt, always liked when we have a black away shirt but as others think a nod to the original Salford colours would be a cracking idea.
