I think with the amount of players already agreed to leave I don't think there are too many to be released. I think Walton, lee and two of the Griffin lads need moving (Not Josh) on and I would like to see a couple of big props to come in to replace Tasi and Taylor. I think its still 50-50 if Mozza plays on and I hope he does but we need to keep pushing the young lads and looking at the lower leagues for gems like Forster.
I'm not sure if the marquee rule kicks in next year but if it does I would break the bank to get a worldy hooker. We haven't had one in all th time Ive watched Salford and I ould love to see a cam smith/Robbie Farah style player come in and dictate play. Ive always felt that for some reason this is a position Salford have never taken seriously and I think our lack of playoff rugby highlights this.
Lets just hope now that with our player back we can make a real push for the playoffs, I still have us own for bottom 4 but have been impressed how we have always been competitive no matter what.

I don't think the Doc will decide about next years signings yet. Needs to sort out the coach first. No sense getting Harris's choices if he ain't going to be in charge next year.

We must be the only club not to have signed anyone or re-signed anyone. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The only reason I can think of for this is because of a change in management. Do I think that it's a good idea? I don't know. I've thought from the off that Noble and Harris wouldn't be my choice of coach, but once they got the job I've got behind them. If Harris went, I wouldn't shed too many tears but I'm not sure it's the right decision at this time. It's a results business after all, and regardless of the hurdles placed in front of the team and coach this year, the results haven't quite started pouring in. But Harris needs to finish the season at least.

How long was Harris signed-on for? I seem to recall that it was to the end of this season with an option to extend?

Is MK thinking of not renewing his contract? All speculation, but the lack of signings are, to me at least, pointing in that direction. Unless we're just playing our cards to our chest, which doesn't seem likely judging by our recent history.

France may be the place to look. Cas have just signed Gadwin Springer from Catalan and in his interview he says there are a lot of unhappy French born players who also want away. Very scathing of the way the Catalan club is run, even using the word "mafia".

Taking into account the Docs recent comment about no more 'big time Charlie's' I wonder if he's looking to reduce the overheads? Let's face it he's not seen an upturn in results or attendances for all the ambition he's shown.

Another thought is, are we having difficulties attracting quality players with our future in SL undecided? That moment of madness by Rangi Chase has killed us this year and the lad has a lot to make up for.

He could be waiting to see if we are relegated.

I may of misheard it, the PA system was crap.

I do recall something along those lines. However, MK has trouble not blubbing hints or names when someone is coming and he's not done that at all so far. So I can't see it personally.

I actually want this season done with now. The injuries and bans knocked us off track and I think we've left far too much to do to make it a productive season. Seems like every year I get my hopes up about progressing only to have them dashed against the rocks of reality.
