Low-rent Frayssinous was less fussy about late hits on half backs when Theo was getting cleaned out. He must be running Tony Smith & Shaun Wane close as self appointed SL whing-bag of the year.

Think Frayssinous needs to look at his own double standards not the ref's, what an absolute idiot to now be 'championing' protecting the smaller players when his boys have dished it out plenty to others when he has been in charge....,.

I'd be very surprised and extremely disappointed if Tasi were to recieve a ban.

The replay was shown several times and no action was taken, no penalty awarded.

Suart Cummings thought there was nothing in it also, I know that counts for nothing though.

I think the biggest clue in the legality of the tackle was the almost non reaction of the Catalan players.

I don't want too see players getting injured during a game but I want too see Tasi putting more hits like that in.

Was at the game... nothing wrong with the tackle. Watched it again in pub today.... still nothing wrong. Catalans will get more than.their fair share of iffy decisions with the way the likes of Henderson goes on at refs and the schoolboy tactics they employ to intimidate refs over there. Belting hit... injury unfortunate. Enough said. If ANYTHING comes if this it will be an absolute disgrace.

Was nothing in the tackle. Fair, committed challenge. There's certainly some double standards leaking out of Frayssinous with regards to standards. Wants protection and reporting on anything happening to his players. When his players do the same it's played-down. That's petty blinkered thinking for someone in charge of a RL team.

It was a great challenge, and all half backs know the risks of releasing the ball as late as possible. Frayssinous is a serial whiner, and his team are the dirtiest in the league.

Meanwhile, Catalans Dragons’ coach Laurent Frayssinous is unhappy that Salford forward Lama Tasi escaped a charge following Saturday’s clash between the teams which ended in a draw.
Frayssinous was angered by Tasi’s tackle which left Todd Carney with a broken rib.

Referee Phil Bentham ruled that Tasi was committed to the tackle and his stance has been supported by the panel.
Frayssinous said: "That is ridiculous. I've got my best player out for a month and there is no charge. They have said the contact was accidental but they must be kidding. It was definitely deliberate.
“Lama Tasi should be out for two months. I need to give the chairman of the panel a ring."

What is wrong with this guy

If Lami Tasi had been charged it would have set a ridiculous precedent. Basically every defending player would then potentially be at risk of a ban should the attacking player release the ball a nano second before impact.

Qui Laurent , Mr Tasi made a deliberate attempt to tackle him..

It's actually a French culture thing - J'Accuse, when they feel hard -done by , which is often. and not without substance historically.
