| I have just sent this to Shirl privately as I won't be able to make it tonight but thought this might be a decent idea.
If anyone knows anyone connected to Shaun Ryder ask if he's be willing to do some form of gig and I know and have friends very close to Peter Hook who'd be willing to approach him to see if he'd consider helping.
Anyone on here know any other Salford/Manchester artists who SOS could approach and I guess if anyone knew a venue that would be suitable and willing to allow us to use it?

| I don't know the capacity but the Kings Arms, which is run by Paul Heaton, may be suitable
[url=http://www.salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=1551Information Here[/url
In the second paragraph Heaton mentions he likes [url=http://www.vanguard-online.co.uk/1101LPH.htmOrdinary People[/url
I also believe the son of journalist Dave Hadfield runs a pub in Salford;as does the father of former Man U.player Phil Bardsley, who may prove to be of assistance.
Not being a drinker of alcohol I do not know where either pub is located or whether they can hold 'gigs'.

It's that time of year when most people join a gym only to lapse a short time later.
Has to be a sponsored slim with players being the personal trainers.
Or,of course,those who want to add muscle.[url=http://www.thenewsenterprise.com/content/business-boom-local-fitness--expect-membership-spikeAmerican link[/url

| If the plan is to remain in Super League and continue at the SCS could a game be organised involving Sale.
If not some ideas on staging a game at the stadium which will encourage a good attendance.
Could Super Leagues longest lasting 'import' organise a golf tournament involving teams of business people from Salford and Manchester to a tournament as these appear to raise large sums ?
Could he or Stephen Wild contact former teammate at Huddersfield,Chris Thorman, and ask if he could arrange for his friend Michael Carrick,at Manchester United, to donate something for auction - at the golf tournament or for immediate auction, please ?

| Why don't you see if the stadium will put on a family fun day?
- face painting/bouncy castles/ rides and the lark for the kids.
- Touch rugby tournament for the older attendees with 1st team players being in each team.
- Meet and greet with player/academy and staff
- Open the bars up
- Food wagons turn up and put some of the players in there taking the orders.
- Coach can have a Q&A session from worried fans, let them know where the club is going.
All money raised goes to the club, or failing that a large percentage. Everyone who contributes with the rides and food and stuff, give them a half season ticket for their services and discount for there families. That'll get more heads through the gate come the season, word of mouth will spread. Get the Trafford involved. They'd love that kind of advertisement of them helping the club and community.
This is just an idea, I don't know any contacts within your club but hopefully some of you do. I hope the club finds a way to stay with us

They could have chased up Hasselhoff, appearing at a Panto nearby, before the season ends, asked Tesco at Pendleton to pay the appearance fee for Sharron Davies, the olympic swimming medallist who opened the Tesco store only in November - and had the successful Salford swimmers, coach and fund -raiser in attendance.[url=http://www.cityofsalfordsc.co.uk/2012/11/24/salford-fundraiser/Link[/url and

It may have helped build bridges after the adverse comments from locals,Eccles Labour representatives and those who kvetched about council tax payers with the club supporting amateur sports people, young people,fund-raisers and a hospital.

I agree.
We might as well ask Mr Bean to donate to the SOS campaign while we are at it. | Auctioning a seat(seats) on the plane to France, with the players and potential new owner, for the game on 9th Feb.
A good many supporters may not have taken the risk on booking, with the future uncertain.
