I don’t understand how Clarke still has a job when he clearly can’t keep his bias in check.

Just now his biggest praise was for Hardaker try in the last minute. In a game where Wigan have just been dominated.

It’s truly bizarre that he has a job with a company like Sky.

Why does Clarke have to hide his bias? It's not as if Neville and Carragher hide there's in the football.

The cringe worthy thing about Clarke is he tries to hide his bias. He should just admit it.

But Carragher and Neville can still comment objectively on other teams and players whilst theirs is playing. Even if it’s obvious who they support you don’t get like today with virtually the only praise from Clarke being for Wigan and no criticism of them whatsoever. I don’t think anyone could accuse Neville of not criticising Man Utd.

It probably was. The main stand was pretty full as was the one opposite except the top tier. Outside was busier than some Magic weekends I’ve been to, loads of French fans made the trip. Barcelona have had some games this year with only 50-60k fans there. Last week they only managed to get 57k, for the biggest club sports team in the world.

According to Phil Wilkinson of the Wigan evening posts twitter it was announced as 26,422 but then changed by the super league later on.

Just saying is all but perhaps spin by the SL,either way which ever is correct it was a fine number

Total capacity of Camp Nou is 99,000. Attendance was 31,555. That is technically less than one third full, but still the biggest attendance at a regular Super League season game ever..

Catalans showed today, given they were playing in the absence of Samuel Tomkins and Gregory Bird, that they are contenders to face St. Helens at Old Trafford, and even win Super League.

You like a lot of others seem to forget this game has been going since 1895 not 1995! I think if you look at the record books we have had a lot better crowds than that in the past. Not trying to downplay the achievement but don’t write off the previous 100 years before super dooper league was spawned.
