| Sam Burgess has been suspended. In his place comes Luke Burgess in the starting lineup for South Sydney against Manly this weekend. Both George and Tom are on the bench.
When Sam returns in 2 weeks, there will be a possibility of all four Burgesses playing for Souths at the same time.
Will McNamara follow suit and include all four Burgesses in his 23/24 man England squad?

| Luke has never been any where near good enough to play for England, with a year out with injured it's not even worth considering. But we have a fool in charge of our national side.

| It partially depends on where he sees Sam playing. I'd play him in the back row.
Then I'd say you want at least 4 props in you squad, with Sam and another back rower who could play there if needed. I'd have Luke down the bottom of my list, his form hasn't ever really warranted international selection and he isn't going to play a lot of games I don't think before the squad is announced to prove himself.

| Crabtree is better than Luke. I'd take George, Graham, Hill and Crabtree. Potentially Walmsley as a back up, with Sam as a back rower.

| I've said for a while that S Burgess, G Burgess and Graham would be three of my first choice four props in the side. I was always unsure of which of Mossop, Hill or Crabtree would be my 4th choice but after watching him Friday and the other two recently I'm not anymore. I thought Crabtree was sensational, the best I've seen him play and on that form he's a shoe in.

| At the start of the season Mossop seemed to be playing well and i kept thinking it was sad that the Giants could not have kept him But recently he has looked pretty poor to me whilst Crabtree has been good all season and has kept it going.

This.
Luke is a good player but no better than the likes of Hill and Crabtree etc who have played well all season, and his lack of game time should mean he misses out.
Tom is going to be a top player and is starting to make his mark, but is still a season or two away from the international scene i reckon.
I like the idea of going with Walmsley as the wild card in the squad. He has always stood out this year when i have seen him, even in a beaten Saints team.

Crabtree always does well when i see him play, and is one player that on the rare occasion he has pulled on the England jersey hasnt looked out of place.Him and George Burgess coming off the Bench after 20 minutes, sounds good to me!

| Am surprised Luke Burgess is starting for Souths having watched him a couple of times in the last few weeks for the Bears in the reserves, where to be franked, he looks a little under done at the mo. Souths must be short.
Maybe expect that line up to change from the one that really starts.

| Agree Luke not good enough and Tom still too early. If they have squad space luxury it might be worth having Tom in the squad in case needed or for the game against Ireland and Fiji to blood him.

| G. Burgess and S.Burgess should be nailed on.
I'd go with
G. Burgess - Sinfield - Graham
S. Burgess - Westwood
O'Loughlin
Hill
Ellis
Lunt
Hock
------------
Roby due to injury to miss out, keep Sinfield at Hooker his best position for England and Lunt has been the best Hooker bar M.Higham (who sadly won't be picked) in SL this season.
Crabtree not good enough with the quality we have.
Hock and S.Burgess are capable of going front row as well as back row.
Ellis, Graham, O'Loughlin and Westwoods industry is relentless.

| Only concern re Burgess's is the NRL has coached the offload out of them. If we are to beat NZ and Oz then we will only do it through second phase play. Forwards here are taught not to pass the ball generally and especially at Sth's. Good battering rams but not going to create much in the scond row isn't Sam.

| I'd go Crabtree all day. I think he's brilliant - massive, good feet, good work rate and has played well at international level before.
I assume L Burgess has developed a bit since he left for Souths, but the player that left superleague was a long way off being as good as Crabtree.
Give Walmsley another 12 months of development and I think we'll have another top level prop, too.
