Just seen his interview on Boots n All, what an outstanding fella he is. For someone who has been through the mill and back again, I can't help but admire him for his loyalty to Harlequins, Rugby League, and now his family with his decision to leave after ten years to be closer to his and his wifes family.

Suggestion is that he'll sign for Whitehaven on his return to Cumbria and Rob said himself that his plan a couple of years ago was to settle back in Cumbria and play for Whitehaven and then Egremont so that his career has gone full circle.

Agree with what Clarkey said that if he'd played for a 'bigger' team, he'd have lifted numerous trophies, probably as captain. Should have played more for England for me too. Top player, hope to see him playing for 'haven again next year.

A gifted RL player in a poor side, His loyalty is admirable and now has made the correct decision for him and his family.

When you saw him play you could tell he was different class from the rest of the team. An outstanding player hampered by injuries.

Quality player, will always remember that scrum base kick from lock for a try in the World Cup, if he'd played for Wigan or Saints he'd have been a mainstay of the England side for a decade.
