As supporters we wear our replica shirts to games, wear them down the pub, sometimes wash them on the wrong heat settings along with other clothing to make up a load...well that's how it works in my house.

Just wondering which shirt manufacturers products have proven to been the best quality this season?

X Blades shirts from the NRL look pretty poor quality this year especially for the price.

On the other side of the coin I bought the new Kangaroos on field replica made by Canterbury... and it's excellent quality as well as being vented to keep you cool unlike a lot of other polyester ones.

We had a shirt that got made inside out once, can't remember who the culprit was.

I really don't understand how Hull can make the magic shirt with the sponsor in built into the shirt material but the home shirts have stickers on them. They always peel off.
Hull tops don't last the year out... okay they will exchange them but that only peels off.. so I have quite a few old shirts that I can't re wear 'cos of they have half peeled logos on them.

Bring back exito. All my old exito shirts are still in tip top condition.

My ideal shirt is all the logos inbuilt except the badge which should be the normal stitch.

Even the Oz shirts are going the same way now with ISC. i purchased a Manly shirt last year which is now un-wearable due to the log peeling away yet i bought a Penrith shirt 5 years ago which has the logo's inbuilt and still as good as new.

NZ Warriors (Canterbury) have printed sponsors logos and sewn in NRL and Club badge. I suspect that they go for printed labels in some cases because sponsors are late coming to the table and in the case of most RL clubs I know, with the exception of London Broncos, 2014 shirts will be ready for purchase and delivery by Xmas, meaning 2014 Sponsors would need to be signed up by October.

Certainly my club make a fortune of replica kit every season. So a two year kit would cost them a fortune. We have also had examples of sponsors going bust, Eric French at Wakey for one. A club can't then legislate for that. This then creates a situation where new shirts are required.
I also as a sponsor would not want to be held to a two year contract or no logo on a shirt.

I have shirts from 90s and early 00s that I still wear occassionally as they are as good as new, but the ones from the last few years with transfers are "retired" already which I find very frustrating. I did refuse to buy my clubs shirts this year, until our Magic shirt which has "in built" sponsors and I would imagine I will be wearing it for many years to come.
