Featherstone has one of the best club shops in the game for selling rugby league books and is well worth a visit on Sunday. Among the books currently on sale are the biographies of Peter Fox, Paul Newlove, Bill Ashurst and Billy Boston, Soldiers' League, Maurice Bamford's Play To Win(includes ten ex Northern players) and Tries and Conversions (includes 8 former Northern players) and also five novels.

You then find that in order to actually wear the item anywhere other than areas designated by Fev, you have to pay an extra £4. |

I always enjoy rugby league banter whether spoken or written, it helps make our game the greatest game to watch, argue about and read about. Regarding the price of my books, I was told that they thought they were all worth twice as much! One book they don't have on sale at present is "Come On Northern" (the fall and rise of Bradford Northern RLFC 1954 to 1965) written by long standing Northern fan Trevor Delaney. But the reason why is that we are now waiting for the delivery of a reprint from the printers.
