| Another big performance from Amor to lay our platform last night. Long minutes played too. The opposition props were struggling so much they resorted to pulling his hair at one point.
He'll be somewhat under the radar to the Aussies, given he's not had international recognition.
A big week for him next week, in which I expect him to have another great knock.
I realise prop is a strong position for England, but international selection got to be in his sights.

He's not the biggest in size for a prop but his heart is massive and gives 100% all the time. You look at him when he gets substituted and he's exhausted. Wonderfull player.

| A real unsung hero. Runs his blood to water every week and does Mose hard work for him. Great signing.

| I think we will probably find out next week when he comes up against the Burgess brothers, pecking order wise he is probably an England 6th Prop behind Graham, Burgess 1, Burgess 2, Chris Hill and possibly Walmsley.

Amor and Walamsley started this year off on top form. They look big strong and fit.
Amor lays platforms doing the tough yards and that sometimes goes unnoticed compared to other props that do things in the oppostions half.

| One of the best signings we've made in recent years. Just very reliable and hard-working, he's got a great offload too which I don't think he receives enough credit for.

| He's a near perfect workhorse prop. Adds the balance to the side that you need and allows us to have the impact players we do.

| Out of the Peacock mould, you want something doing then he will do it and keep on doing it.
Underrated but never undervalued.

| I'll add though that if he ever cut the hair or beard, he would not be worth keeping. It wouldn't be the same. The hair has to be with the beast.

| Amor is interesting because his performance is far beyond what you might expect from someone his size. He has to be one of the fittest forwards on the books. Maybe even the fittest

Amor is certainly very fit for a prop but no forward comes anywhere near James Roby, nor any back.

It's hard to compare the two. It wouldn't take too many increments of 1lb loads added consecutively to Roby's back before he drops from sixty tackles down to fifty and then forty.

Whilst I agree with your point that extra load would equate to decreased performance, Roby is so far ahead it likely wouldn't matter. The bloke is a machine whether it comes to RL related match fitness or general aerobic/anaerobic fitness.
