I'm surprised no-one has made any mention on here of tonight's world middle-weight title fight between your own Martin Murray and Sergio Martinez in Argentina.

He has the red vee on his shorts so always assumed he is a Rugby League fan.

We all love our Rugby League but if Murray wins this fight it will eclipse any previous sporting achievements of your town.

Martin is a good friend of mine and I can't wait for the fight in the early hours Sunday morning.

It wasn't a fix, I think Martin lost the fight but it was closer than the scorecards said.

The knock down that was judged as a tangle of feet was a joke!

I thought Martinez was one round up as he won the last two rounds. Martinez always comes on strong in the 11th round, he stopped macklin and barker in the 11th and yet again stepped it up to take the last two rounds.

Martinez IMO was there for the taking.

He dident really trouble Martin at all , good defence , if it was in England or America Martin would of won

I think Martinez won the last two rounds which won him the fight

Haveing the second knockdown wiped out didnt hurt his chances either. In fact that was pivital.
