According to Stuart Pyke on Twitter, Louis Anderson is leaving Warrington at the end of the season, but will still be in SL in 2012. By my calculations he signed for Wire prior to the 2008 season, which would make him exempt from non-federation status.
IMO not exactly what we need, but he's rough and ready and would certainly add fire to our pack. A worthwhile option?

I went over this with someone the other day. 2008 was his first season IIRC so he is quota.
He would be a good addition, though, as he hits lines well and loves the biff and intensity in the big games. |

2008 was his first season, but he signed for them in 2007. He should be entitled to exemption.

The wire guys seem sure he was on their quota. They also said (FWIW) he was angling for a move to the south of France.
I'd love him at Saints and think he'd add some real agression to both defence and attack. I'd love him as a squad addition, but would perhaps consider releasing Flanders for him if we had to. |

I'm not certain on that one, but I believe the exemption stays. I was told by someone on the VT who seemed to know what they were on about that a player retains his exemption through to retirement, but I've not seen any documentary evidence of that. |
