| Out of the 11 losses in a row only one has been one real hammering, that being the game at Odsal, where we were totally outclashed by Huddersfield to the tune of 52-6 in the rain.
I would like to think that we could keep this up at what will be our last ever game at Knowsley Road.
Anyone remember last years game?
Just a quick question as we'll be coming over on the train, just what is the quickest way of getting from Junction station to the ground other by taxi or foot?
Last year we walked it and it took us just under 40 minutes.

| The 35 bus goes direct to the ground on alternate journeys IIRC. Otherwise you'd have to get off in the town centre and catch another, or walk, to get to the ground. The only ones I can think of are the 10 and 10a, but there are more than that.

Cheers mate, I don't mind walking from the town centre, but it's just a bit of treck all the way form Junction station to Knowsley Road.
Fingers crossed it's a good one on Friday night.

It's been a long time since I was stood at Westgate station in Wakefield waiting for the train home after watching us win 29-10 (Friday 14th May to precise).
As long as the effort from the players is there on Friday the result doesn't matter to me anymore with the season another write off.
It's about getting our young players ready for the push next year.
I think the loss at the weekend gone is the worst result for us as you'll want to bounce back and what a game to bounce back in style with our very much so fragile defence of late.
But as I said in the opening post, we have only had the one hammering in the last 11 games, so the future does look good.
See you all Friday and may the best team win for what will be my last ever visit to Knowsley Road and I've seen some cracking games there with the most famous being the play-off game from 2000 and that wide to West moment.

| we think things are bad here with our injuries..(and i'm not denying this as been our worse season for somewhile trying to raise a full team)..but the the trouble youv'e had at odsal this season with results is terrible.
who would have thought the bulls would lose 11 games on the trot?
you lot must be fed up to the teeth of paying each week to see result's like that.
not be long before your board is moaning about the sudden drop in gate money.
hope your luck changes next season and things go a lot better for you.

The station after the Junction is Lea Green so check if the train stops there (sometimes it doesn't)
It would almost halve your walking time to get off there instead - also there was a bus from there straight to the ground so hopefully it's still running

I looked into getting off at Lea Green but it's classed as an outpost of a station by Northern Rail with very few trains stopping there but will look into it.
The only other route I've done is the Bradford to Preston and Preston down to St Helens Central journey but it costs more and takes longer and the last train from Preston to Bradford is at 20:30.

| Just checked on the trainline and they all seem to stop at Lea Green now so that's your best bet. Bus from there or a brisk walk

| A 35 or a 121 will do you but they ain't too regular around the time you will be arriving.
35's and 35A's run through the daytime and the last one you can get is at 17:43
[urlhttp://www.arrivabus.co.uk/uploadedfiles/Services/North_West/NWSH35,35A_300809_160809.pdf[/url
121/2 run in the evenings and the first one of those available to you is at 18:46
[urlhttp://www.arrivabus.co.uk/uploadedfiles/Services/North_West/NWSH121,122_010309_220209.pdf[/url
Hope that helps.

| I'll be over too early to catch the special bus from Lea Green as I'm going for a stadium tour before the game as it'll be my last ever visit to Knowsley Road.
Plus the young Bulls kick-off at 5:45pm and after watching them win away at Hull KR last time out, I'll be wanting to watch that before the main game.
Cheers for the info though.

| Oh well you'll be fine then. 35A runs every half hour straight from the junction to the ground at 17 and 47 minutes past.
