| Whats on the tape? The poor quality of tape will mean a sub-par digital playback. Obviously this is unavoidable if the content you are looking for isn't online in digital format but most music albums will be online.
And in answer to your question all you need is a tape player with a headphone jack (Most will have this) and a double ended wire to plug into the input on your sound card on your PC. Most PCs will have this as standard.

All you need is a cable that goes from the output on the tape player (Most will be a standard 3.5mm headphone jack) to the sound input on your PC sound card. This will definitely be a 3.5mm headphone jack. Somewhere like Maplins will stock all combinations of outputs from the tape player to input on the PC. The way to tell is to see what size headphone lead fits into the output on the tape player. As I said most will be 3.5mm.
Something like this would most likely do it.

| Forgot to add that you would then need some software to record it onto the PC as a file. I've never actually done this but there are loads about, ask in the tech thread on the sin bin if in doubt.

| What's on the tape? If it's just music, download it.
