Sean Morris crossed twice as Oxford beat London Skolars 19-12 in Kingstone Press Championship 1. Jimmy Rowland converted the winger's first score in the third minute and kicked a drop goal but Oxford only led 7-6 at half-time after Matthew Bradley added the extras to Martyn Smith's score on the stroke of the interval. Morris then crossed four minutes into the second half, with Rowland adding the two, before the Skolars set up a nervy finish when Bradley converted James Carty's 73rd-minute try to make it 13-12. However, Callum Mulkeen's try in the last minute, converted by Rowland, ensured Oxford kicked off their campaign with a victory.
