| I'm surprised he's got a gig in SL to be honest. But Ryan Jones, Tommy Brierly, and Jack Nolfolk are all better prospects than him but, good luck to him, I hope he does well.

Minns will go a lot further in the game than Brierly, and probably Norfolk too. It is a good signing for Hulk KR, he will hold his own. No space here for him, so not a loss, but the lad is still only 20 and has some good qualities.

| Wonder if it's a JP influenced signing?

| With our backs and Handley looking good and Golding still on the wings (and Keinhorst and Ablett still able to cover centre) then their was really no room for him.
Will be interesting to see if he cuts it at a SL Middle-ish side. Not a top 4 contender side player from what I've seen so far.

| He has shown flashes at Fev this year and to my mind has improved steadily, and he was outstanding against Bradford on Wednesday before going off with a concussion. He will be at the very least a solid and reliable centre, though whether he can develop into a genuine strike centre for a quality SL team I'm not sure. He's still young though.

| Didn't think he'd be coming back to Leeds. He'll top out at the Kris Welham kind of level, solid but unspectacular. A decent signing for a low to mid-table SL side.

| Good luck to him but as has been mentioned not really any room for him back at Leeds but i think he'll become every bit a SL centre and is a decent signing for HKR.

| We're in a similar situation with the outside backs as we were with halfbacks 5 years ago, I think the club recognise this, which is why most of the best prospects in our academy are forwards.

The result of your under 19s match against Hull FC suggests you may have played 17 forwards. To be beaten 20-72 at home is very poor for a club with a history of producing top class players.

| Our 19s are 5hite, the best players in the 19s are either injured or on loan.

| If I were FC, I'd be more worried at the fact their Academy production is going to be cut in half over the next few years...

The job of Leeds Academy is to produce players that can contribute at 1st team level. Our Academy does a decent job of that.

Given the number of young players we have produced/are producing in what way is it poor for the club?
The current u19's are going through a transitional phase a lot are first years/not good enough ,many have moved on loan and add a couple of injuries it's no surprise.
I expect them to be better next year and just to add a lot of our quality youngsters were with our U16's this year who won every game.
As has been pointed out you should be more concerned about yer penny pinching merger and losing a lot of players.
