| Sunday is an opportunity to get back to winning ways when The Broncos visit The Shay. It will be interesting to see SG's team selection for this one with presumably Maher and maybe Doro in the team. What we do know is Fairbank will be out under the 10 day head injury rule and maybe Maizen out after injury to his shoulder. London having lost narrowly to Batley then beating Whitehaven by a similar margin could be anything, it's up in the air but i would expect home advantage to see us get the points. Fax 30v16 London.

| This season the head injury recovery has been extended to 11days. I think Maizen will be rested and Tibbs will come in. Really hoping Doro will play as I want to see him causing havoc in the opposition defence. We need to clean our goal line defence up. Most of Febs trys were close range. If we can defend our line consistently most teams will struggle to score against us. A Panthers win 28 - 14

| Think there is a possibility that walmsey might be unavailable as a reoccurring groin problem was mentioned, it’ll give him a couple of weeks rest before the Widnes game and I expect rawsthorne and tibbs to be like for like replacements. Hopefully we will see doro and Maher play a part . Be interesting to see if inman is selected as both wood and him did ok in their respective games .

| I think this could be a tricky game for us and we will need to be patient to get the job done but I see us pulling away towards the last 20 and winning by 28-12. We will be a bit battered after last sunday with the players mentioned carry injurys so there could be a few changes there and one or two others could do with upping there game for me.

| If no Jake and Walmsley think we will be short on trys in this one
Few need to drastically per increase performances based on the last two games or don't play

| I watched last years game at the Shay on youtube last night and was surprised how poor both teams were at times, our defence was much better but when in possession it was littered with a number of knock on's, incorrect play the balls with a low completion rate and we will need to be much better today.

| Second home game that we've won which we could easily have lost. Generally outplayed in the forwards, at least until Doro came on, and very clunky in attack. Positives Salty doing what he's done nearly every game, running ball in harder and more often than our forwards, Matty Gee running his blood to water, Kavanagh running some great lines off Keyes and JWH by some way looking our most dangerous player in attack. Also really pleased with impact Doro made and his fantastic run for a try - looks an ideal replacement for Titus. Thought though generally their forwards ran the ball in harder than ours, possibly on back of this our halves were as ineffective as I can remember, no idea how Keyes got MOTM. Also, and hate saying this but so far Maher looks exactly the same player that he was a few years ago when on loan with us. Really hope King gets a chance next week, listening to Grix after the Featherstone game he doesn't seem impressed so far so probably unlikely to happen.

| Not a great match to watch. We did some nice moves but over all it felt very flat. Meatier team were that good and pliant but f mistakes. Again our goal line defence looks weak this year.
We need to be improving in all areas of the park. I think keys didn’t have a great game and was surprised he was given MOM. I would have given it to Doro. He ran had defended well and got a try. Onto Widnes

| That game was hardly an advert for Championship rugby. I needed many more fingers to count the dropped ball (from both sides) in the first 20 minutes. So many stupid interferences at the ptb gave London more go forward than they deserved. Discipline is still a problem. London`s forwards seemed to run with more vigour and made lots for ground after contact. Good job our goal line defence stepped up a gear this week.
JWH and Jouffret were superb yet again. How on earth Louis did not get MOM is beyond me, he looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. A mention for Kav. He just gets better and better. Who would have thought he would go from hard working prop to dangerous running second row in his thirties.

| 2 points in the positive column with multiple points in the negative column centring around two much dropped ball / penalties again, very similar to last year more or less exactly 12 months ago against them and others in between.
I don't think our initial contact / collision was that bad and we broke their line more than they did ours but when you go down the mobile pack route then you want the direction to be going forwards rather than backwards due to poor completion rate, sloppiness and ill discipline.
There's no lack of effort but I do worry that after such a length of time if we will ever get anywhere near playing a full 80 minutes at the right level?
Not sure what the official was doing at times, a couple of examples are when Larroyer is down injured in the active play zone he allows play to go on until he penalises us again in the same set but stops play when there are 2 balls on the field with one of them just a couple of foot on the pitch nowhere near the active play zone.
I mean whats more important, players safety or a second irrelevant rugby ball??????

| That was a very poor game for me the positives was getting the 2 points and i thought both our wingers had good games and the m.o.m would of been between kavanagh our jouffret for me and it was nice to see doro offer some impact off the bench we could do with more like him. The negatives our defence looks poor we are conceding soft tries near our line time and again and even away from our line we are falling off tackles far too often. And our pass accuracy is not good enough and this is taking the momentum out of our attack for me overall we look off the pace hopefully this will not last for too long. Finally dr did smith offer more then say calcott would of it is hard to judge after 1 game because a player like smith is not a battering ram he likes to offload more then any of are forwards so it would take time to develop that understanding with our players.

| JWH looked good as always. Walmsley and Saltonstall got through a decent amount of work. Forwards looked like they were running in treacle every time one ran in and London did a great job at slowing the ruck down to a snails pace. Not sold on Maher yet but Doro looked ok. The DR lad from Cas also tried with some decent offloads although I’d of preferred to see Calcott continue in his place. Gee and Kav played well too. London seemed to come back when Moore was taken off for Kyle Wood.

| Some positives for me. Very close to 2k crowd with no away support on a nothing game. Feel the crowd will gradually increase this year with a half decent run. Liked the look of doro just what was needed. Cant understand why Maher isnt playing but obviously not pulling up trees in training . Yes Joffrey was mom for me
