I reckon the ref got a call in his earpiece from Stuart Cummings over the Sam Barlow dismissal.

COuldn't see for sure that Barlow saw Red, and sky hasn't confirmed it but everywhere seems to be reporting it so I guess red it must have been.

He'll see a couple of games from the bench for that unfortunately

To be fair, all media reports are generally the same, and most would have just gone by what they saw on the tele and what was said and wouldn't want to seem the odd-ones our by not reporting the sending off. The RFL in their extensive 40 word match report don't mention the sending off or sin-binnings and you'd like to think they had the most official.

If Barlow has been sent-off, he's been sent off, i'm not trying to live in denial here, but from watching the Sky game and seeing him on the pitch after the game and someone saying he heard that he was just yellowed, i'm not losing sleep about it being definate tonight.

The ref showed the yellow card three times, once to the widnes player, and then to nash and then barlow. The biff doesnt look half as good on the tv as it did last night.

I think Barlow got a yellow. Thats what he said after the game anyway.

It was yellow for Barlow i heard the same after the game from widnes fans but it was defo yellow no red
